Therapist-in-training

Hi there, I’m Kenya, and I'm thrilled to be part of your wellness journey. I’m a Mental Health Counseling Intern passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges while uncovering their inner strengths. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and am pursuing my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Bellevue University. My approach is person-centered, meaning I believe in meeting you where you are and walking alongside you as we work toward your goals.

I specialize in using strength-based techniques, as well as integrating CBT and DBT strategies to help with managing anxiety, building self-esteem, and creating healthier coping skills. Whether you’re processing life transitions, managing stress, or simply seeking a safe space to share, I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard and understood.

In my free time, I love spending time outdoors, connecting with loved ones, and exploring creative outlets like singing and music. I can’t wait to get to know you and support you on your path to growth and healing!
