During our sessions we will utilize different skills and techniques that will help you
navigate to the consistently changing aspects of life, as well as developing tools to help
regulate emotions and thought processes in a day-to-day setting. We will work to create
coping skills and techniques that can be utilized when encountering new and stressful
experiences. This can include forms of self-care, meditation, mindfulness, and other
techniques that would allow for you to put your best foot forward in each situation. There
will also be time to discuss traumatic and sensitive events should the flow of the
conversation and session structure take us that way.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in CBT theories, with a heavy focus into narrative
therapy and positive reframing. However, I take from theories that I believe would best
fit the client's needs, As well as providing for a more client centered and client specific
service. My hope is that for all those that walk through my door, that they feel
comfortable, safe, seen and understood at all times. Ideally I would like for my clients to
feel as though they are in complete control of the sessions, as well as what is
discussed, and that this is a team effort to reach a common goal.
